Greystone’s sense of service extends far into the communities in which we live and work. We believe each of us as employees, and collectively as a firm, should reinvest a portion of the benefits we personally receive from living our lives here.

Greystone recognized for top United Way Regina fundraising campaign in 2017

Greystone raised over $235,000 for the United Way to help support childhood development and other worthwhile causes in Regina. While Greystone has been in the “Top Three” for fundraising for a number of years in the past, 2017 is the first time the firm has been recognized as the top overall fundraiser.

The award was presented at the United For Change Luncheon on April 18th. The event honours local individuals and organizations who exemplify passion, commitment, generosity and hands-on involvement in making the Regina United Way’s vision for a better community a reality.

Exile Island is a fundraising event created and organized by The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. The Greystone Guardians were among numerous tribes that were paired with a wish child and tasked with raising $10,000 to grant their child's wish.

Tribes were exiled for the day and took part in a variety of mental and physical challenges to determine who would be crowned the winners. In 2017, Greystone finished second in the competition challenge, but more importantly they raised over $15,000 to help grant their child’s wish.
